Dare to Dream is owned by Leslie Phillips, LPC-S, NCC, ACS, BC-TMH  to help those who "Dare to Dream" to reach their goals. Leslie Phillips is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Counseling Supervisor,  a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Nationally Approved Clinical Supervisor, and a Board Certified Telemental Health Counselor. She has been in the field of mental health for over 15 years of Clinical Experience, including providing services in the Huntsville, Guntersville, Scottsboro, Arab, and Decatur, Alabama area.  Leslie has a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology from the University of West Alabama, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.  Her experience includes counseling in a variety of settings, ranging from private practice to professional organizations, as well as mental health centers. Leslie has experience in supervising and managing mental health programs, staffs, and subsequent services, as well as ensuring quality assurance and performance improvement. She also has experience in providing training for mental health professionals. Leslie oversees the program "Leslie Phillips Seminars®" which hosts continuing education seminars for mental health professionals, primarily hosted in the Northern Alabama area as we are an NBCC approved continuing education provider, and an Alabama Board of Examiners in Social Work approved continuing education provider as well. She is also one out of only 4 entities approved by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling to provide the LPC Supervisors Training Series for the State of Alabama.  Leslie also maintains a small private practice of clients and provides supervision for those seeking state of Alabama LPC licensure. Lastly, she also teaches Undergraduate Psychology courses with Columbia College.
